Roof ridge

A vapour permeable ridge tape in the form of two strips of pleated aluminium connected together by a high-strength geotextile, finished by high quality butyl adhesive strips from underneath.

The tape is air and moisture permeable, and prevents rain water snow and insects from penetrating under the roof covering. Batten support bracket- Type 2 is made of galvanised steel. It is kind of protection for the horizontal ridge batten at the apex of the rafters, when the dry ridge system is fitting. There are four different bend points on the bracket, which accommodate for a range of roof pitches and tile heights and are designed to hold a single batten.
